Soumare is Officially going to France

It was announced Wednesday afternoon that Bakary Soumare was officially a member of Boulogne of Ligue 1 the French 1st Division.  The newly promoted club has been pursuing Soumare since the begining of the season and after the altercation with teammate Logan Pause and Coach Hamlett it seemed inevitable that this move was at some point inevitable.  In a statment released by the club Fire technical director Frank Klopas said;

“We would like to thank Bakary Soumare for his contributions to this club and wish him the best in his future playing career.”

It is rumoured that Boulogne payed a transfer fee of $2.15 million for the rights to Soumare’s contract.

RSL: Coach Jason Kries

Last Season

3/29: CHI 1-1 RSL

7/19: RSL 0-0 CHI

Although we have the Superliga final at midweek I put this as the suggested starting lineup due to our poor record at home this year.  I feel it is important to get the full 3 points at home to start off the second half of the season.  Thorrington will be back for the Superliga final allowing Blanco rest for the first half of the game.  He is extremely valuable coming on in the second half due to his fresh legs and therefore the ability to full take advantage of his abilities.  Otherwise tired legs should not be a factor in either game and the best players will be on the field for both.
